So before my St. Patrick’s Day went to hell, I spent some time with friends at a creativity festival at the Art Center. There was all kinds of neat stuff there. The best one being Mirazozo.

It’s an inflatable sculpture that you can walk through and hang out in. It’s supposed to remind you of stained glass but it’s reminds me more of an LCD trip. haha I went to one like it last year called Amococo and when I saw that a new one was touring here, I had to go check it out.

This was by the same artist, but it seemed a lot bigger than the last one which meant more pods for me to lounge in and take pix of. The soft light  and weird music they play in there makes you really wanna relax and get comfy. Some people were even meditating. lol

I didn’t get that carried away but I did stop at a few pods to take a break from walking and snap a few shots.

After that, we explored some of the art outside. There wasn’t much left to see after we were done at Mirazozo. It had gotten really windy while we were inside so a lot of booths had already started leaving. I did get to see this awesome chalk art though.

It was soo big and detailed! The girl must have spent forever working on it and she was still adding more. Of course, I liked the bobcat picture the best.

The interactive art was tons of fun, too.

I got to hug this big ball thing and it giggled and made happy noises. lol And there was a sculpture shaped like a guy that you were supposed to high and low five. I was too busy giving him props to take a picture of him. haha Well, I’m a tad late but the pix are up as promised. Hope ya guys like ‘em

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hope you guys all had a fun and safe night

Mine was going well for most of the day. I met some friends for lunch and we went to the art center for some interactive art displays. They were really neat! I’ll try to post some pix from there tomorrow.

After that, the day kinda went to hell. My friend got a little too carried away during the pre-gaming and was done for the night around 10:30…before we even went to the bar. *cough**cough* Lightweight!

Sooo that put a bit of a damper on my evening and I wasn’t really in the mood for going out anymore. I decided to quit while I was ahead.

Now, I’m home in my jammies, clutching my bong and playing Portal 2. I think the night is looking up I thought I’d post some pix I took earlier today for those of you returning home drunk and looking for “luv.” haha Hopefully, your night was better than mine!

I love Valentine’s Day! All the hearts and flowers, secret admirers and love notes… *sigh* It makes me giddy just thinkin’ about it.

What can I say? I’m a hopeless romantic. hehe

‘Cause I’m gonna have you drooling over these pix! So I went to a chocolate festival in Glendale over the weekend and decided to snap a few pix while I was there to make you all jealous. Muahahaha

These crispy cupcakes were probably my favorite because they were so cute and portable–you can just pop the whole thing in your mouth(or take 2 bites if you’re a “lady”) which is a plus when there’s not much seating available. All of the other flavors were yummy but the fudge flavored was the best. Yes, I had to try them all.

The chocolate/salted caramel whoopie pie from Pin-Up pastries was super scrumptious, too, but a little messy. I tried some cookies, mini donuts, cannoli, chocolate creme brulee and a few other desserts but they all got eaten before I got a chance to get a picture. I’ll bet you were expecting something a little more naughty than food. Am I right? How ’bout a shot of me licking some balls then? hehe

Those were chocolate covered creme puffs, by the way. Mmm

OK, I’ll stop teasing and get to the good stuff.

My Android doesn’t have the greatest camera but I love the neat effects I can do through Flickr on it now.

Especially this one that looks like a star burst…so purdy!!
